The purpose of this program and those linked to it is to provide evidence to open-minded, thinking people that God does exist — that the Bible is his word and that science and belief in God are compatible. The author of this material is a former atheist who came to belief in God through science. He was a science teacher specializing in physics and earth science. It is our contention that those who deny the existence of God have either not seen the evidence, or have embraced bad science and/or bad theology in making science and faith enemies. The Does God Exist? program offers a quarterly journal, DVDs, CDs, courses, books, and other materials. Our booklets, sheets, and many things online are free. Mid-West Leadership Training for Christ is an organization designed to stimulate and encourage spiritual, mental, and social growth among our youth in grades three through twelve by participation in a variety of individual and group events. An annual convention is held each year at various locations in Indiana to allow the students to display their projects and participate in the events. A number of congregations participate in this convention. The youth can learn how to serve in the Kingdom of God by preparing projects or events of interest. At the convention the youth will share what they have prepared at their home congregation. Typical events are Bible Bowl, Signing for the Deaf, Spoken Word, Boys/Girls Song Leading, Boys/Girls Bible Reading, Bible Story Telling, Puppets, Group Singing, Boys/Girls Speeches, Live Christian Drama.

Winterfest is a weekend retreat going on for 36 years now. This retreat is geared toward middle and high school teens. This particular Winterfest is attended primarily by teens from acapella churches of Christ, although we have groups from several different fellowships that come back each year. We use teachers from our fellowship to teach and encourage teens in their walk with God. This weekend is geared toward discipleship. The teachers and guests that come use real life stories, drama, music and scripture to make the Christian life come alive to the teens involved.
